This week has been so great for wearing my most favorite summer clothes -indoors. Yes, I know it’s strange since the only place I’m taking those heels out are to the kitchen, but time is passing us by, and I rather have a date night at home than sit in a crowded (potentially covid infested) place with my manzz.
The pink, blue and white shirt dress is from H&M, isn’t she cute?! Shirt dresses are great to wear with converse or heels, like the ones I have below. This dress is perfect.
My heels are from Calvin Klein, and my purse was a gift from my sister. Actually, so was this dress, ha!
My belt is fromMacy’s; I’vehad it for ages. Usually I wear this belt with a pair of white pants, but today, I wanted to wear it with this dress to give me a waist 😂. I absolutely recommend getting a belt in this color. It goes great with lots of different outfits. You can wear it with light/dark jeans or dresses and never goes out of style.

Can you believe we are at the end of 2020? I can’t either—cheers to the new year, in black and white everything.
The black bodysuit is from Boohoo. I’m wearing a size 10(m); I feel like a 5lb sausage in a 3lb bag, so please be sure to measure yourself. I may have lost all sensation in my arms for this photo op, but worth it for you guys. The detail in this bodysuit is beautiful. You can wear it with a skirt or with pants, which is great for versatility.
I love white, but I’m not blessed enough to maintain things the same color. Usually, I ruin white articles with makeup, my dog’s hair, and pen stains.
My pants are from American Eagle. This brand is great for short term use. The only issue (my fault) is the hip/waist ratio. My love handles don’t like to be hugged, and it’s a bit too low for me, so make sure you’re comfortable in the kind of rise you purchase.
Shoes are by BCBGeneration. I love this brand!! They look sexy, clean, and again, it’s all about versatility for me. I need to dress outfits up and down for me to buy them. Make sure you have flats nearby if you are planning on walking in heels. Tip: rub deodorant on your feet to prevent friction, but not on open skin!
I cannot tell you how much I miss wearing pumps. Before quarantine, I planned to buy new pairs of shoes and dumped about eight. Then covid hit, and now I’m just sitting by shoeless (I’m exaggerating). No point in getting anything now, since there’s nowhere to go (*cries in silence*).
For accessories, I kept it simple since the colors are what pop out the most.
The purse is from Nine West. It’s pretty old and has held up exceptionally well. You can find inexpensive quality bags at Marshall’s, but they don’t always pop up. This tote I found online has a similar feel but shop around for your perfect size. I wouldn’t say I like big bags, since I’m short.
My watch is from Kapten and Son in rose gold. Classic, clean, and wrist slamming durable.
Earrings: They are simple teardrop looking with a rose gold/nude hint to them. They were a gift from a friend, but here are somesimilar-looking ones. If you have a round face, long earrings usually compliment it well.
I added another bag. ^ it’s a mini book-bag from Kapten & Son to make this outfit a bit more playful.
Today’s outfit is a splash of earthy colors, yellow and hunter green, with some black pumps. A great casual look for the office or last-minute meetups. Yes, even for Zoom!
The pants are from H&M. They’re pretty thick and comfortable to wear since the fabric is quite dense. Make sure you’re not wearing these pants in humid weather, or you’ll have a hard time explaining to people that you did not, in fact, pee on yourself. 🤣
The top is from Thread + Supply, it’s light, and it comes with strings inside your sleeve so you can roll them up and tie them to a button on the sides. You can find similar ones here, though, not sure if they have the added sleeve strings.
For accessories, I’m wearing the Kapten & Son Campina mesh watch in rose gold. This watch is lightweight and makes any outfit look elegant. The gold mesh warms up and compliments my skin tone, while the small face adds to the detail. Very minimalist. Me likes.
My purse is from Karl Lagerfeld. It’s a great size to fit your laptop, makeup bag and other necessities. It was my sisters, pretty much like everything else I’m wearing today. She’s actually the one that has excellent taste in clothes, and I relish in the hand-me-downs.
The locket is from the Firefly Boutique in Maine. I went there when visiting my partner’s family. There were so many beautiful pieces I couldn’t leave without snagging one for myself!
My heels are from Calvin Klein, from Marshall’s. I miss you, Marshalls!! I can’t tell you how many times my sister and I would run to Marshall’s to talk and shop. It was such a great bonding experience. Hopefully, things will be back to normal soon enough.
They’re so beautiful, but they are not the best for grip. You will slide face first into pavement if you aren’t careful. I recommend purchasing shoes after walking so that you can get a feel for them after they swell!
Welp! I’m off now. I want to finish my book before Christmas so that I can review it for you.
